Of course, when the sun’s out, people want to have their drinks and food outside. Make sure you not only have a good number of seats, but that you also have umbrellas/areas where your patrons can relax in the shade out of direct sunlight. The attractiveness of your pub garden is also important, by making sure dishes and glasses are cleared frequently from outside tables, people are more likely to be enticed to visit (especially with less wasps!)
Remember, many families will opt to sit outside, so having garden games for kids will go a long way and provide a break for parents!
Summer Pub Grub
On a hot day, your patrons are less likely to crave comfort food like pies and roasts.
