We’ve been in Andover this week, helping a new tenant get their pub back on its feet.
The pub was previously owned by a large national pub company and run by a tenant who was fully tied on alcohol sales and to a national supplier of gaming and amusement machines.
Unfortunately, like so many tenants in this situation, he was not able to make an adequate living. Gradually, the pub became neglected and eventually closed its doors.
Fortunately, the freehold of the pub was recently purchased by a property developer and has undergone extensive refurbishment to bring it back to its former glory.
The pub is now run by an experienced multi-site operator, who is free of all ties and able to choose which suppliers they would like to do business with.
The new tenant is an existing customer of TVC Leisure, and has first-hand experience of our unparalleled service levels. We supply a number of the pubs and members clubs in the area, and are proud sponsors of the Andover pool league, which made us an obvious choice for this venue.
For this installation we installed 2 popular fruit machines, an icon storm digital jukebox and a brand new glass washer. This venue hosts a number of Andover pool league events and interleague competitions. For this reason we installed 2 brand new Winner pool tables fitted in premium Strachan cloth, ensuring a high quality play surface for the players.
